Photographing Children Enjoying Their Hobbies
Do you ever feel that you want to capture more than how your kids look today?
How about including one of their favorite hobbies or activities in your family photo session. This can be accomplished with an in-home session, urban exploring session, or almost any adventure you can think of in the Portland Oregon metro area.
I find that this helps to get older school age kids excited about their upcoming family photo session. They get invested in creating images that show their personality while highlighting something that they love.
This can include a game your family loves like chess:

Show them how proud you are of their hard work by including this aspect of their life in your expanded family photography session.

Incorporating activities that your kids love shows them how you truly do see them,
and helps to record this special time for the future, when they may no longer be as interested in their particular hobby, and you can look back at it fondly together.
