For Family

A photo session gift certificate

Do you have a family member who would love a photo session, but just doesn’t book it themselves? Help them out with a gift certificate towards a family, maternity, or newborn photo session! Just contact me and I’ll send you a gift certificate in your desired denomination.

Framed Updated Photo Of Your Family

Extended family always loves to receive updated photos of each other, but when they are received via email only, it’s a struggle to print, frame, and display those images. So, I encourage you to print a favorite photo from your most recent photo session, frame it, and deliver it ready to be displayed to your family members. Table top sizes of photos are 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10. Wall sizes are 11x14 and larger, just for reference.

For Children

I love photography related children’s books, and have included some of my favorites here.

Little Humans by Brandon Standon

National Geographic Kids Guide To Photography

Camera Eureka: The Biography of an idea by Laura Driscoll

Toy Camera For Toddlers

Kids love to do copy what they see adults doing, and using a camera is no different. Providing them with a toy that resembles a camera can make for great pretend play.

For Tween/Teens

Photography Camp Enrollment

Photography camps and classes are a real enjoyable activity for tweens and teens. They can get hands on experience using a digital camera, adjusting the settings for proper exposure, learn composition techniques, camera care, and creative methods for creating photos. Each summer I offer 1-2 photography camps in the Portland area, and you could purchase a gift certificate for your student for the holidays. Portable Kodak Mini Photo Printer

(Don’t tell my kids…but they may be receiving this as a joint holiday gift this year….shhh…)

Now that my kids are taking iPhone and tablet photos, I’d like them to have easy access to print the photos they love to display in their room. Printing our photos is a great habit we can start to teach them while they’re younger, and this is a great little printer and the paper is very reasonably priced. Plus, they can print directly from their device without a computer interface as a plus!

For Mom/Dad/Other Adult Loved Ones

Slim Locket Necklace

I received this necklace as a gift a few years back and I LOVE it. It’s simple yet modern, and they have the ability to help with photo print sizing on their website too!

GoPro Hero 11 Waterproof Camera

Do you have a camera that you feel comfortable taking on super fun adventures, like skiing, swimming, and snorkeling? A GoPro is the answer. They’re small, durable, and waterproof. Excellent for fun still photos and video!

Underwater Dome For GoPro

I have this linked dome for using underwater with the GoPro. I love that it makes the camera larger, and creates a unique image with the above/below water split in your images. It’s easy to use, durable, and light to travel with as well.

Mini Phone Tripod

Would you like to take family self portraits with the camera timer, but the angle is always off because you are leaning your phone against a salt shaker or tree branch (am I the only one?!?). Well, this is a handy travel tripod perfect for family self portraits on the go with your cell phone camera.

For the photographer in your life

Do you have a photographer in your life who is always striving to improve their photography? Gift them my online course on ‘Composition and Color Theory’ to help them take their photography to the next level!!
